In 1930s Craynebrook, a nameless body discovered on the common sets newly promoted Detective Inspector Matthew Stannard on a dangerous path. As he investigates, members of an esteemed social club begin meeting untimely demises, placing immense pressure on Stannard to catch the killer before his own career is ruined.
